CVE-2025-8311 is a Boolean-based blind SQL injection vulnerability in the dotCMS /api/v1/contenttype endpoint affecting versions 24.03.22 and later before the fixed releases. The endpoint's comma-separated sites query parameter, which accepts site identifiers or keys, was concatenated directly into a SQL query without proper sanitization. An authenticated low-privileged attacker can use crafted input to extract database data, potentially escalate privileges, and cause denial-of-service conditions.
