CVE-2025-9816 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the WP Statistics WordPress plugin developed by VeronaLabs. It affects all versions up to and including 14.5.4. The flaw exists because the plugin records the HTTP User-Agent header for analytics purposes, stores that value without sufficient sanitization, and later renders it in the administrative device analytics interface without proper output escaping. The vulnerable code path is reported to be in /includes/admin/templates/pages/devices/models.php at line 31. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted HTTP request with a malicious User-Agent value, causing attacker-controlled JavaScript to be stored in the WordPress database and executed when an administrator views the affected analytics page.
