CVE-2026-0636 is an LDAP injection vulnerability in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. BC-JAVA bcprov affecting all prov modules. The flaw is caused by improper neutralization of special elements used in LDAP queries and is associated with the LDAPStoreHelper program component. An attacker able to influence input incorporated into LDAP search or lookup operations handled by LDAPStoreHelper may be able to alter the structure or semantics of the resulting LDAP query. Affected versions are BC-JAVA from 1.74 before 1.80.2, from 1.81 before 1.81.1, and from 1.82 before 1.84.
