CVE-2026-103042 is an uncontrolled resource-allocation vulnerability in LightLLM through version 1.2.0. In deployments started with the --pd_trans_mode nccl option, the NCCL control channel exposes the exposed_set_value method without authentication and without limits on stored key-value-pair size or quantity. An attacker can repeatedly store values until the KV-transfer worker exhausts memory, crashes, and causes node failure.

High-severity unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability in LightLLM's NCCL control channel caused by unbounded resource allocation.
An unauthenticated memory-exhaustion denial-of-service vulnerability in LightLLM through version 1.2.0. In NCCL transfer mode, an attacker can invoke exposed_set_value to create unbounded key-value pairs, exhausting KV-transfer worker memory, crashing the worker, and causing node failure.
An unauthenticated, network-reachable memory-exhaustion denial-of-service vulnerability in LightLLM through version 1.2.0. When LightLLM is configured with --pd_trans_mode nccl, an attacker can invoke exposed_set_value over the NCCL control channel to store unbounded key-value pairs, exhausting KV-transfer worker memory and causing worker crashes and node failure.
