MediaWiki ReadingLists extension versions 1.45 and 1.46 contain an improper neutralization vulnerability for script-related HTML tags. The flaw permits reflected cross-site scripting (XSS), allowing attacker-controlled crafted web content to execute script in a victim's browser in the context of an affected MediaWiki site.

1 valid exploit after Mallory filtered fakes, detection scripts, and README-only repos.
This two-file repository contains a Python proof of concept for CVE-2026-103437, an XSS condition in MediaWiki's ReadingLists import handling. poc.py starts a threaded HTTP server bound exclusively to 127.0.0.1, with permissive CORS headers, and returns a synthetic project API response for page ID 123. Its canonicalurl field is a javascript: URL rather than an HTTP(S) URL. The script base64-encodes an import manifest pointing ReadingLists at that loopback fixture and prints a Special:ReadingLists URL for a local wiki. The target URL is explicitly restricted to localhost or an IP-address loopback range. A signed-in user who opens the generated import URL and clicks the imported card triggers the JavaScript marker, demonstrating code execution in the wiki origin. README.md documents local-only usage and links to the CVE and public report; no framework, remote callback, credential theft, shell payload, or persistence behavior is present.
