CVE-2026-103922 is an origin-validation vulnerability in Capacitor's Android and iOS WebView navigation guard. The guard validates a navigation target's scheme and host but not its path, allowing an untrusted link to direct a frame to the internal native HTTP proxy endpoint. The proxy retrieves attacker-selected remote content and returns it as a document under the application's trusted origin. Scripts in that document can access same-origin storage, cookies, and registered Capacitor plugin capabilities. Affected releases begin with version 6.0.0; fixes are available in versions 6.2.2, 7.6.9, 8.3.5, 8.4.3, and 8.5.1. Disabling CapacitorHttp does not eliminate the vulnerability in affected releases.

A critical same-origin boundary-bypass vulnerability in Capacitor's WebView navigation protection. Insufficient path validation allows a malicious in-app link to invoke the internal /capacitor_http_interceptor endpoint and load attacker-controlled remote content under the trusted application origin, enabling access to localStorage, cookies, and exposed native Capacitor plugin capabilities.
A critical origin-validation and confused-deputy flaw in Capacitor for Android and iOS. An attacker can induce a user to open an untrusted link that reaches Capacitor's internal HTTP interceptor path, causing attacker-selected remote content to load under the application's origin. Script in that content can access same-origin storage, cookies, and registered Capacitor plugin capabilities.
