CVE-2026-11824 is a heap-based buffer overflow in SQLite versions before 3.53.2 affecting the FTS5 full-text-search extension. A crafted SQLite database can contain malicious continuation-page metadata with a szLeaf value below four. During FTS5 MATCH query processing, fts5ChunkIterate() performs an integer underflow that inflates a remaining-byte count, leading to a heap buffer overflow involving attacker-controlled data. The flaw affects applications built with SQLITE_ENABLE_FTS5.
