CVE-2026-12595 is an authentication bypass vulnerability in the LoginPress Pro plugin for WordPress affecting all versions up to and including 6.2.3. The flaw is present in the Discord OAuth callback handler, loginpress_on_discord_login(), which trusts the email address returned by Discord's user profile endpoint and uses it to identify a local WordPress account without verifying that the OAuth provider marked that email address as verified. The handler maps the returned email directly to an existing WordPress user account and then establishes an authenticated WordPress session. Because ownership of the supplied email address is not adequately validated, an unauthenticated attacker can complete the Discord OAuth flow with a Discord account configured to use an unverified email address matching a target WordPress user's email and thereby authenticate as that user.
