CVE-2026-12605 is a critical vulnerability in Eclipse GlassFish affecting 8.0.x releases before 8.0.4. The flaw is in the Admin Console DownloadServlet ContentSources handling, where attacker-controlled URL input can be used to trigger outbound server-side requests. In the vulnerable flow, the server-side request includes the administrator REST authentication token as a cookie, allowing that token to be sent to an attacker-controlled host. The issue is exploitable through a CSRF-plus-SSRF chain: if an administrator is authenticated to the Admin Console and is induced to visit a crafted URL, the application can issue the outbound request and disclose the live administrative token. The leaked token can then be replayed against administrative management endpoints. Reported affected logic includes multiple ContentSource implementations associated with DownloadServlet, and the issue was fixed in Eclipse GlassFish 8.0.4.

A vulnerability in Eclipse GlassFish DownloadServlet ContentSources affecting versions 8.0.x before 8.0.4, where CSRF and SSRF can leak the admin gfresttoken to an attacker-controlled host, enabling full unauthenticated takeover of the GlassFish domain until the token expires.
A critical vulnerability in Eclipse GlassFish where CSRF and SSRF in DownloadServlet ContentSources can leak the admin gfresttoken to an attacker-controlled host, enabling full unauthenticated takeover of the GlassFish domain until the token expires.
A critical vulnerability in Eclipse GlassFish DownloadServlet/ContentSources that combines CSRF and SSRF to leak the admin gfresttoken to an attacker-controlled host, enabling full unauthenticated takeover of the GlassFish domain until the token expires.
A critical Eclipse GlassFish vulnerability in the admin GUI DownloadServlet and associated ContentSource handlers that allows an attacker to use CSRF to trigger SSRF and exfiltrate the admin REST token (gfresttoken) to an attacker-controlled host, resulting in unauthenticated administrative takeover and remote code execution via WAR deployment.
