CVE-2026-13125 is a high-severity lack-of-authentication vulnerability in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0, an add-on used with GeoVision products such as GV-VMS and GV-Cloud and also referred to as Web Plugin or WS Player. The component exposes a local WebSocket server used to extend browser-based functionality of GeoVision web interfaces. Access to this WebSocket server is not protected by authentication, allowing untrusted web content to establish a connection and invoke sensitive APIs. Reported exploitation involves combining the create method with getScreenCapture to obtain the contents of the user's screen. The issue is remotely exploitable from a malicious website in the context of a user system running the vulnerable add-on.
