The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) via filter parameters (e.g., filter_first_name) in all versions up to and including 2.11.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can supply a crafted request/URL containing a malicious script payload in a filter parameter, which is reflected into the response and executed in the victim’s browser when the victim loads the affected page (e.g., by clicking the crafted link).

If you can’t patch tonight, do this now.
filter_* parameters (e.g., member directory/filter functionality) by limiting access to authenticated users where feasible. Implement WAF/reverse-proxy filtering to block or strip suspicious filter_* query parameters from unauthenticated requests and enable an XSS-focused ruleset to detect and block reflected script payloads.Patch, then assume compromise.
