CVE-2026-14355 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in PHP's OpenSSL extension when performing AES Key Wrap with Padding (AES-WRAP-PAD) encryption. In affected PHP versions, the output buffer is allocated according to plaintext length but does not account for the expansion required by RFC 5649. OpenSSL can consequently write beyond the allocated heap buffer, corrupting heap metadata and causing an application abort.
