CVE-2026-14364 is an improper password reset validation vulnerability in the TrueBooker – Appointment Booking and Scheduler System plugin for WordPress affecting all versions up to and including 1.2.3. The flaw stems from the plugin failing to properly verify a user’s identity during the password reset process before invoking password change logic. Available technical context indicates the issue is reachable through an unauthenticated AJAX password reset action and involves the plugin’s password reset routine interacting with WordPress password reset state and ultimately calling the password update function. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker can reset the password of arbitrary WordPress users, including administrator accounts, and then authenticate as those users.
