CVE-2026-1470 is a critical eval-injection and sandbox-escape vulnerability in n8n's JavaScript Expression evaluation system. The AST-based sanitization of workflow expressions inadequately handles the deprecated JavaScript with statement and detects constructor only in certain property-access forms. An attacker can use a standalone constructor identifier within a manipulated scope to evade sanitization, resolve the Function constructor, and execute arbitrary JavaScript outside the intended Expression sandbox. The resulting code executes on the main n8n node in the security context of the n8n process.
