CVE-2026-15905 is a high-severity use-after-free vulnerability in the Aura window manager component of Google Chrome. It affects Google Chrome versions prior to 150.0.7871.128. The flaw can be triggered by a local attacker using a malicious file, leading to use of memory after it has been freed and resulting in heap corruption within the affected Chrome process. The issue was also addressed in downstream Chromium-based products that incorporated the vulnerable code.
