CVE-2026-18330 is a cryptographic implementation weakness in the web login module of TP-Link Archer AX55 hardware version V4 routers. The firmware embeds a shared hardcoded RSA-1024 private key used by the web authentication mechanism. The administration interface permits HTTP login traffic, allowing a local-network observer to capture an administrator login session and use the known private key to decrypt the administrator password. Weak AES session-key generation, reportedly caused by insufficient entropy during session initialization, further reduces the work required to compromise session confidentiality.
