CVE-2026-18467 is an unauthenticated privilege-escalation vulnerability in the Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations plugin for WordPress through version 5.0.3. Although version 5.0.3 added a signature validation gate for user-data metadata, a later post-payment metadata filter copies attacker-supplied form values into payment metadata without validating that signature. This permits an attacker-controlled user-role value to overwrite the validated value. The plugin subsequently reads the persisted role metadata and supplies it directly to WordPress account-creation logic, enabling registration of an account with an attacker-selected role, including administrator.
