CVE-2026-20337 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the ZIP archive parser of ClamAV. The flaw is caused by improper boundary checking and incorrect ZIP catalogue capacity tracking while indexing local file headers during archive scanning. When ClamAV processes a crafted ZIP file, the parser can write beyond a heap allocation, leading to memory corruption and termination of the scanning process. The issue affects ClamAV versions 1.5.0 through 1.5.3 and is fixed in version 1.5.4.
