CVE-2026-20345 is a memory corruption vulnerability in ClamAV's GPT file format parser. The flaw is caused by improper handling of an endian conversion operation during GPT partition name processing, resulting in an indexing error that can read from or write beyond a stack-allocated partition entry. By submitting a crafted GPT file to be scanned, an unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds buffer write in the scanning process. The issue affects ClamAV versions 0.98.2 through 1.5.3 and is fixed in versions 1.4.6 and 1.5.4.
