CVE-2026-21932 affects the AWT and JavaFX components of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Affected versions are Oracle Java SE 8u471, 8u471-b50, 8u471-perf, 11.0.29, 17.0.17, 21.0.9, and 25.0.1; Oracle GraalVM for JDK 17.0.17 and 21.0.9; and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition 21.3.16. An unauthenticated network attacker using multiple protocols can exploit the vulnerability with interaction from another person. It applies to deployments that execute untrusted code and rely on the Java sandbox for security, typically sandboxed Java Web Start applications or Java applets. Successful exploitation permits unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of critical or otherwise accessible data and may significantly affect additional products. Deployments that execute only trusted code are not affected. The underlying implementation defect and vulnerable function are not identified.
