CVE-2026-22904 is a stack-based buffer overflow in the web-based management interface of WAGO 852 series Industrial Managed Switches (noted as using a modified lighttpd plus custom CGI). The flaw is caused by improper length handling when parsing multiple HTTP cookie fields, including the TRACKID cookie. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send an HTTP request containing oversized cookie values, triggering a stack buffer overflow that can crash the service and may be exploitable for remote code execution.
