CVE-2026-24060 is an ICS vulnerability in which service information is transmitted unencrypted as BACnet packets over the network. Because the affected communications are sent in cleartext, an attacker with network access can sniff, intercept, and modify the traffic in transit. Reported exposed data includes service information such as File Start Position and File Data. The issue also affects the proprietary format used by WebCTRL to receive updates from the PLC, which can be captured from network traffic and reverse engineered. The available information indicates a cleartext transmission weakness in WebCTRL-related BACnet communications rather than a memory corruption or authentication flaw.
