OpenSTAManager (v2.9.8 and earlier) contains a critical time-based blind SQL injection in the Article Pricing completion handler exposed via /ajax_complete.php?op=getprezzi. The application fails to properly sanitize/parameterize the idarticolo parameter before incorporating it into SQL queries (notably in /modules/articoli/ajax/complete.php, where one SELECT in a UNION query does not consistently apply prepare($idarticolo)), enabling an attacker to inject arbitrary SQL and exfiltrate data using time-based Boolean inference.

If you can’t patch tonight, do this now.
/ajax_complete.php?op=getprezzi) to only trusted/admin users and enforce least-privilege accounts. Deploy compensating controls such as WAF rules to block common SQLi/time-based payload patterns in idarticolo (e.g., SLEEP(, SUBSTRING(, IF(, boolean operators). Increase monitoring/alerting for anomalous response times and repeated requests to the endpoint consistent with time-based extraction.Patch, then assume compromise.
/modules/articoli/ajax/complete.php to consistently sanitize/parameterize idarticolo (e.g., apply prepare($idarticolo) in the second SELECT of the UNION query to match the first SELECT), then redeploy the application. No valid public exploits.
