CVE-2026-25990 is a high-severity memory corruption vulnerability in Pillow, the Python imaging library. Pillow versions 10.3.0 through, but not including, 12.1.1 are affected. The flaw is triggered when Pillow loads a specially crafted Adobe Photoshop PSD image, causing an out-of-bounds write during PSD parsing. Available vendor descriptions indicate the issue stems from insufficient input sanitization in Pillow's PSD handling logic. Because the condition is an out-of-bounds write, successful exploitation can corrupt process memory while parsing attacker-controlled image data.
