CVE-2026-27175 is an unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability in MajorDoMo, also known as Major Domestic Module. The flaw originates in rc/index.php, where user-controlled input from the $param variable is interpolated into a shell command enclosed in double quotes without proper sanitization or escaping. The constructed command is then queued through safe_exec(), which does not sanitize the command before storing it for later execution. A second component, cycle_execs.php, is web-accessible without authentication and retrieves queued commands and passes them directly to exec(). Exploitation relies on a race condition: an attacker first invokes cycle_execs.php so it clears the queue and enters its polling loop, then submits a malicious payload through the rc endpoint while the worker is polling. Because shell metacharacters are still expanded inside double-quoted shell strings, the attacker can inject arbitrary operating system commands and achieve remote code execution.
