CVE-2026-28780 is a heap-based buffer overflow in Apache HTTP Server's mod_proxy_ajp module. When mod_proxy_ajp is configured to connect to a malicious AJP backend, the backend can return a crafted AJP message that causes a four-byte attacker-controlled write beyond the end of a heap buffer. Apache HTTP Server versions through 2.4.66 are affected. The memory corruption can enable arbitrary code execution.
