CVE-2026-28863 is a privacy vulnerability in Apple Sandbox Profiles affecting iOS 26.4 and earlier, iPadOS 26.4 and earlier, tvOS 26.4 and earlier, visionOS 26.4 and earlier, and watchOS 26.4 and earlier. Apple states that the issue was caused by a permissions flaw and was addressed by adding additional restrictions. Successful exploitation could allow a local application to fingerprint the user, indicating that sandbox policy or permission boundaries exposed enough device- or user-distinguishing information to permit persistent identification beyond intended privacy controls.
