CVE-2026-28877 is an authorization flaw in the Apple Accounts component affecting multiple Apple operating systems. The issue stems from improper state management in authorization handling, which could allow an application to access sensitive user data that should not be available to it. Apple addressed the vulnerability by improving state management in the affected component. Fixed releases include iOS 18.7.9 and iPadOS 18.7.9, iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4, macOS Sequoia 15.7.5, macOS Sonoma 14.8.5, macOS Tahoe 26.4, visionOS 26.4, and watchOS 26.4.
