CVE-2026-30922 is an uncontrolled-recursion vulnerability in pyasn1 versions 0.6.2 and earlier. When decoding deeply nested ASN.1 constructed values, including SEQUENCE or SET values encoded with indefinite-length markers, multiple decoder paths recursively invoke the decoding function without enforcing a nesting-depth limit. Crafted input can drive recursion until Python raises a RecursionError or resource consumption exhausts available stack or memory. pyasn1 version 0.6.3 fixes the issue.
