CVE-2026-30976 is a path traversal vulnerability in Sonarr affecting versions in the 4.x branch prior to 4.0.17.2950/4.0.17.2952. On affected Windows installations, files returned from the API were not properly constrained to the intended on-disk directory, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to request and read arbitrary files accessible to the Sonarr process. Exposed data can include Sonarr configuration files containing API keys and database credentials, Windows system files, and other user-accessible files on the same drive. The issue is specific to Windows; macOS and Linux are not affected.
