CVE-2026-31820 is an authenticated insecure direct object reference vulnerability in Sylius Shop LiveComponents. The flaw arises because multiple component actions accept resource identifiers through Symfony UX LiveComponent #[LiveArg] parameters and then resolve those identifiers directly with repository lookups such as ->find() without validating that the referenced resource belongs to the current user. In this design, component props are protected by the LiveComponent checksum mechanism, but args remain fully user-controlled. Affected code paths include the checkout address FormComponent action that accepts an address identifier and loads an address record without ownership verification, and cart-related WidgetComponent and SummaryComponent actions that accept a cart identifier and load order records directly from the repository. Because the same order storage includes both active carts and completed orders in a shared identifier space, the issue permits unauthorized access not only to active cart data but also to completed order information. Exposed data can include personal address details and order financial information.
