CVE-2026-31987 affects Apache Airflow versions 3.0.0 before 3.2.0. JWT tokens used by tasks were written to logs, resulting in exposure of sensitive authentication material through log output. Because these task JWTs could be recovered by users with access to the Airflow UI or associated logs, the issue could enable those users to act as DAG authors. Based on the available information, this is a sensitive information exposure through log files issue that can lead to privilege escalation within Airflow.
