CVE-2026-32105 affects xrdp, an open source RDP server, in versions through 0.10.5. When xrdp is configured to use the Classic RDP Security layer, the implementation generates Message Authentication Code (MAC) signatures for encrypted RDP packets but does not verify the received 8-byte integrity signature on inbound encrypted packets. Because the receiver silently ignores the MAC instead of validating it, packet integrity is not enforced. An unauthenticated attacker with man-in-the-middle position on the network can exploit this flaw to alter encrypted RDP traffic in transit without detection. The issue does not affect deployments where the TLS security layer is enforced.
