CVE-2026-32286 is an improper input-validation vulnerability in the DataRow.Decode function of github.com/jackc/pgproto3/v2. The function does not properly validate DataRow field lengths. A malicious or compromised PostgreSQL server can send a DataRow protocol message containing a negative field length, causing a slice-bounds-out-of-range panic in the consuming application.
