CVE-2026-32289 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in template escaping logic for JavaScript template literals. Context is not correctly preserved across template branches, and template actions within JavaScript template literals do not correctly account for JavaScript brace depth. Consequently, actions can receive escaping appropriate to the wrong syntactic context, allowing attacker-controlled values to be rendered with insufficient or incorrect escaping.
