CVE-2026-34191 is an SQL injection vulnerability in Apache Portable Runtime Utility affecting the apr_dbd_oracle provider. The flaw is caused by improper neutralization of special elements used in SQL commands, allowing untrusted input to be incorporated into database queries in an unsafe manner. Affected versions are Apache Portable Runtime Utility 1.6.0 through 1.6.3. The issue was fixed in the 1.6.x branch on 2026-08-06.

Patch, then assume compromise.

Upgrade Apache Portable Runtime Utility to a fixed release newer than 1.6.3. The issue was addressed in the 1.6.x branch on 2026-08-06 by revision r1936817. Deploy the vendor-provided fix across all affected installations using the apr_dbd_oracle provider.
