CVE-2026-34413 is a missing authentication vulnerability in Xerte Online Toolkits version 3.15 and earlier. The issue affects the elFinder connector endpoint at /editor/elfinder/php/connector.php. When an unauthenticated request reaches this endpoint, the application issues an HTTP redirect to ../../../index.php if $_SESSION['toolkits_logon_id'] is not set, but does not terminate execution with exit() or die(). As a result, PHP continues processing the request server-side despite the redirect response. This allows unauthenticated attackers to invoke elFinder connector functionality against project media directories and perform file-management actions such as creating directories, uploading files, renaming files, duplicating files, overwriting files, and deleting files. The provided context further indicates that this primitive can be chained with path traversal and extension blocklist weaknesses to achieve remote code execution and arbitrary file read.
