CVE-2026-34917 is an improper authentication vulnerability in Revive Adserver affecting version 6.0.6 and earlier. Low-privileged session IDs issued for the web admin console could be reused against the XML-RPC API, even though that API is intended to be restricted to admin users. The flaw stems from insufficient binding of session state to its intended execution context: the application did not adequately distinguish between sessions created for the web interface and sessions presented to the API. As a result, session identifiers could be used interchangeably across contexts, enabling authentication bypass into the XML-RPC API.
