CVE-2026-35214 is a path traversal vulnerability in Budibase, an open-source low-code platform, affecting versions prior to 3.33.4. The flaw is in the plugin file upload endpoint, POST /api/plugin/upload, where a user-controlled filename is passed directly to createTempFolder() without sanitizing traversal sequences such as ../. A user with Global Builder privileges can submit a crafted multipart upload whose filename escapes the intended temporary directory. As described in the advisory, this can cause arbitrary directory deletion through rmSync and arbitrary file write through tarball extraction to filesystem locations accessible to the Budibase Node.js process.
