CVE-2026-38360 is an unauthenticated directory traversal vulnerability in fohrloop dash-uploader versions 0.1.0 through 0.7.0a2. Insufficient validation of upload-related form parameters in the HTTP request handler, including logic associated with BaseHttpRequestHandler.get_temp_root() and BaseHttpRequestHandler._post(), permits attacker-controlled path traversal sequences to escape the intended upload directory. An attacker can write controlled content to arbitrary filesystem locations writable by the application process, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.

A path traversal remote code execution vulnerability in dash-uploader.
An unauthenticated directory traversal and arbitrary file-write vulnerability in dash-uploader's HTTP upload handler. Unsanitized form parameters are passed to filesystem path operations, allowing writes outside the intended uploads directory. This can lead to remote code execution through Python .pth files, as well as WSGI-module overwrite, SSH authorized-key placement, or stored XSS via Dash assets.
A directory traversal vulnerability in fohrloop dash-uploader versions 0.1.0 through 0.7.0a2 that can allow remote arbitrary code execution.
