CVE-2026-38936 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in diskover-community versions up to and including 2.3.5. The issue is present in public/selectindices.php and is triggered via the namecontains parameter. Insufficient neutralization of untrusted input allows attacker-controlled script content supplied in the HTTP request to be reflected in the server response and executed in a victim's browser in the context of the affected application.

This repository is a small collection of markdown write-ups for three diskover-community vulnerabilities rather than a traditional source-code exploit kit. It contains 4 files total: three CVE-specific documents and a short README. There are no standalone scripts or binaries; the exploit content is embedded as curl commands, crafted URLs, and HTML/JavaScript snippets inside the write-ups. Main capabilities: - CVE-2026-38934 documents a CSRF vulnerability in diskover-community <= 2.3.5 affecting public/settings_process.php. The PoC shows an authenticated admin session being abused to submit a forged POST request that sets LOGIN_REQUIRED=false, effectively disabling authentication for the application. This yields authentication bypass and follow-on access to dashboard.php. - CVE-2026-38935 documents reflected XSS in public/view.php via the doctype parameter. The exploit capability is arbitrary JavaScript execution in an authenticated victim's browser, including alert(document.cookie) and silent exfiltration with fetch() to an attacker-controlled endpoint. - CVE-2026-38936 documents reflected XSS in public/selectindices.php via the namecontains parameter. Similar to the previous issue, it enables arbitrary JavaScript execution and cookie theft/account takeover when a victim visits a crafted link. Repository structure and purpose: - README.md: brief overview stating the repo contains multiple diskover-community CVE write-ups. - CVE-2026-38934: detailed markdown advisory with affected component/version, curl-based PoC, HTML CSRF form, impact, and remediation guidance. - CVE-2026-38935: markdown advisory for reflected XSS in view.php with crafted URL examples and exfiltration payloads. - CVE-2026-38936: markdown advisory for reflected XSS in selectindices.php with crafted URL examples and exfiltration payloads. Overall, this is a proof-of-concept/advisory repository focused on documenting exploitation steps for web vulnerabilities in diskover-community <= 2.3.5. It is not part of a known exploit framework and does not include automation beyond illustrative payload snippets.
