CVE-2026-39819 is a symlink-following vulnerability in the Go toolchain's go bug command. The command creates two temporary files using predictable names in the system temporary directory without safely preventing pre-existing symbolic links. A local attacker able to create a symlink at one of the expected temporary-file locations can cause the command to write to the symlink target.
