CVE-2026-39834 is an integer-overflow vulnerability in the SSH channel write handling of golang.org/x/crypto/ssh. A single Write call containing more than 4 GB of data causes truncation during an internal payload-size calculation. The resulting incorrect size comparison prevents forward progress: the write loop continuously emits empty SSH packets and spins indefinitely. golang.org/x/crypto version 0.52.0 corrects the comparison by using int64.
