CVE-2026-41844 is an open-redirect vulnerability in Spring Framework affecting Spring MVC and Spring WebFlux applications with a catch-all request mapping that does not explicitly specify a view name. An attacker can craft a link that invokes the redirect: prefix, causing an HTTP 302 redirect to an arbitrary external host. Spring MVC applications under the same conditions also permit an attacker-controlled internal forward through the forward: prefix. Affected versions include 7.0.0–7.0.7, 6.2.0–6.2.18, 6.1.0–6.1.27, and 5.3.0–5.3.48; unsupported versions are also affected.
