Apache Tomcat contains an information-disclosure vulnerability in WebSocket authentication handling. Following authentication of a WebSocket request, a redirect can cause the most recently used HTTP Authentication header to be sent to an unexpected redirect target host. This exposes authentication material to a host other than the intended authentication endpoint. Affected releases are Tomcat 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.21, 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.54, 9.0.2 through 9.0.117, 8.5.24 through 8.5.100, and 7.0.83 through 7.0.109.
