CVE-2026-42519 is a medium-severity authorization flaw in Jenkins Script Security Plugin affecting version 1399.ve6a_66547f6e1 and earlier. The vulnerability is caused by a missing permission check in an HTTP endpoint, allowing users who only have Overall/Read permission to access functionality that should be more tightly restricted. Successful exploitation allows enumeration of pending and approved Script Security classpaths, exposing internal configuration details related to script approval and classpath handling within Jenkins.
