CVE-2026-42934 is a heap buffer over-read vulnerability in the NGINX ngx_http_charset_module charset-conversion path. It affects configurations that enable charset, source_charset, and charset_map directives and proxy_pass with proxy buffering disabled. Under these conditions, unauthenticated requests can trigger a worker-process heap over-read when additional conditions outside the attacker's control are met.
