CVE-2026-43109 is an x86 Linux kernel shadow-stack vulnerability in shstk_pop_sigframe(). The function failed to check the return value of mmap_read_lock_killable(), allowing execution to continue when acquisition of the killable mmap read lock failed. The correction handles the error return and marks the relevant mmap-lock interfaces with __must_check to prevent similar unchecked-return defects.
