This 16-file repository contains a native macOS Xcode proof-of-concept application and a shell-based post-exploitation wrapper for CVE-2026-43783. The principal code is Objective-C in poc/ViewController.m: when its view loads, it connects locally over Mach/XPC to com.apple.DesktopServicesHelper, archives an array containing /private/etc/pam.d, and submits the RepairPermissionsForCloudItems request. The claimed flaw is insufficient authorization in the daemon's permission-repair handler, enabling an unprivileged local user to change ownership of an arbitrary protected directory. lpe.sh launches the built application, verifies ownership of the PAM directory, writes a pam_permit-based sudo_local policy, and starts sudo/su for root access. Supporting files are standard Xcode project metadata, Cocoa application boilerplate, storyboard, assets, and sandbox entitlements. The PoC has no network communications, remote callback, persistence component beyond the altered PAM file, or configurable payload; its hardcoded PAM escalation makes it an operational local exploit rather than a detection script.
