CVE-2026-44580 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Next.js applications that use beforeInteractive scripts with untrusted content. Affected versions do not safely escape serialized script content before embedding it into the document, allowing attacker-controlled input to escape the intended script context and execute arbitrary JavaScript in a visitor's browser. The vulnerability affects releases starting at 13.0.0, with fixes available in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.
